Sam Crane

Director & Machine Operative
Sam founded Optisol Services in June 2016. After working as an Agricultural Business Consultant for many years he identified a clear need for an efficient, competitive and large-scale solar farm cleaning service.
After extensive research a cleaning system was developed and imported from Germany for roll out across the UK.
Working as the Operations Director Sam co-ordinates the activities across the various services including; procurement, price and delivery.
As well as the day to day running of the cleaning operation, Sam has, in recent months, shifted his focus to the development and implementation of the new services.
Although some of his time is now spent developing the new services, Sam is still an integral part of the operation and is committed to the continual progress of the cleaning operation along side Jack.
Jack Sagar

Director & Machine Operative
Jack joined the company in October 2016 to assist with the roll out of the nation wide cleaning service. Jack hit the ground running by securing a new contract for the cleaning of 6 sites in his first week
Jack frequently works on site to ensure the effective delivery of the service as well as being able to provide key updates on the progress to our clients. This approach gives our clients peace of mind and allows them to obtain real time updates from Jack.
As the Business Development Director, Jack is committed to nurturing the relationships of our clients by acting as their account manager. As well as this he is developing new business opportunities to drive growth within the company.
Philip Horne

Site Operative
Philip joined the company in May 2017. Although at all times one of the directors of Optisol are on site Philip plays an integral role of overseeing all site operations. Philip is the employee that keeps all the machines running, refuelling, maintenance and water supplied.
​
Philip, whilst clearing stubborn bird dropping and muck in-front of the cleaning machine, carries out quality control whilst on site.
​
In his spare time, Philip enjoys fishing and spending time with his dog Amber.
Andrew Ruscoe

Machine Operative
Due to the expansion of the cleaning operation to 3 machines, Andy joined the company in September 2019 as a machinery operator. With a background of landscaping, his attention to detail and work ethic he has become an important part of the team.
​
Andys role is as a machine operative, he drives the Sunbrush solar panel cleaning machine on site putting in some lengthy shifts for the clients. It is Andys role to also report any defects on sites to the directors to the report to the client.
​
In his spare time Andy enjoys getting out on his bike around the country with his friends.
